Accenture Recruitment Process – On Campus

The Accenture recruitment process for 2020 batch students has changed again this year. Accenture will now be hiring students for two roles, namely:

  • Associate Software Engineer with a CTC of 4.5 LPA
  • Full Stack Engineer with a CTC of 6.5 LPA

For both these roles, Accenture has a new recruitment process. The process is as follows: Registration: Colleges in one zone will be grouped & Accenture will share the registration link with the colleges directly. Zonal Level hiring will take place in the month of August for around 3 days.

Round 1: Communication Assessment

Once the registration is done, candidates will receive a link to take the communication assessment.

Round 2: Zonal Level Hiring Test

The Zonal Level Hiring process will consist of two assessments – Cognitive & Technical Assessment, Coding Assessment. The coding assessment is mandatory for FSE (Full Stack Engineer) role applicants.

The candidates that pass the Cognitive & Technical Assessment have an option to attempt the Coding Assessment in order to be considered for the Full Stack Engineer role. Even if they are unable to pass the coding round they are still considered for the role of an Associate Software Engineer provided that they clear the group interviews.

Round 3: Group Interaction

Details about this round are yet to be confirmed by Accenture.

Accenture on-campus recruitment – Eligibility criteria

  • Students from all the branches of B.E/B/Tech are eligible.
  • A minimum 65 percent or 6.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a scale of 10 is mandatory for students to participate in our hiring process
  • Students must not have any active backlog(s) at the time of application to Accenture or during onboarding
  • Students are allowed a maximum of the one-year gap in education (after 10th standard till completion of graduation)
  • Students must be Indian citizens
  • Please note that Bhutan and Nepal nationals can work in India without a need for obtaining a work visa
  • All other foreign nationals require a work visa or an Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) or Person of India Origin(PIO) card to work in India
  • Students who have worked with Accenture before (if any) must disclose the details to the Accenture team at the time of application

In the AMCAT Accenture recruitment process, the first round is an online test. After you clear the online test, then you will be called for the further rounds.

Accenture off-campus recruitment – Eligibility criteria

  • BE / B.Tech / MCA students across all branches.
  • An aggregate of 60% and above / CGPA of 6.7 and above at the time of the recruitment process
  • No active backlog at the time of application to Accenture – Maximum 1-year gap in education (post 10th standard till completion of graduation)
  • Should be an Indian Citizen. Bhutan & Nepal nationals can work in India without a need for obtaining a visa to work. All other foreign nationals require a work visa or an OCI / PIO card to work in India. Bhutan & Nepal nationals would also need to submit a Citizenship certificate or a Govt ID Card in the absence of other documents (PIO/OCI/Work permit/passport).

1) I have attended the Accenture interview recently, can I apply again?

If a candidate has attended an Accenture interview within the past 6 months from the date of the new application, then he/she is not eligible to apply again.

2) I have applied for Accenture drive recently but did not attend the interview. Can I apply now?

If for any reason a candidate after applying for Accenture misses the opportunity to give the interview, then the candidate can apply again and attend the selection process.

Accenture Communication Assessment Test Pattern

Communication Assessment Test is the first round of Accenture Online Test. Here the main aim is to check the fluency and capability of candidate over communication skills.

  • Communication Assessment Test is divided into 6 sections.
  • 20-30 seconds will be provided to answer each question.
  • Sentence Reading, Repeating Sentences, Jumbled sentence, Question Answer, Story Telling, Open questions; these were the 6 sections of Accenture Communication Assessment.
  • You have to answer all the questions orally.

Section 1- Reading

Total number of questions- 8 questions

Time provided- 20-30 Seconds

There were total 8 sentences and you need to read the one they ask you to read.
Like the audio will say read sentence 1 then after some seconds you’ll have to read that sentence, then sentence 2,3..like wise !. This round is basically to check the reading ability of candidate.

NOTE-

  • you have plenty of time to read it, dont rush just calmly read it if you want you can first read it in your head and then aloud.
  • The sentences were asked to read aloud in order one by one continuously with no breaks in between.
  • All sentences will have easy structure and basic words.

Section 2- Repeating Sentences

Total Number of sentences- 20-25 Sentences

So here you’ll hear a audio (sentence) and then you will just repeat it as it is.

NOTE-

  • Again you have plenty of time, listen care fully.
  • Some accent you’ll might not be able to understand but just keep going

Section 3-  Jumbled Sentence

Total Number of Sentences- 10-15 Sentences

So in this section you need to form the correct sentence.

And you will reapeat – books are on the table !

NOTE-

  • Listen the statements carefully.
  • This section will focus on testing your ability to quickly apply your knowledge.

Section 4- Question and Answer

Total Number of Questions- 20-25 questions

In this section you will be asked simple questions and you will just answer them in one or two words

Example – you keep the books on the table or in fridge !
You will say – on the table

Ans) Heart

  • Listen the questions carefully
  • You have to answer the question orally.

Section 5- Story Telling

Total Number of questions- 3 questions

Here you will be listening a short story TWICE and then you will repeat what you remember or a summary of it in 30 seconds

NOTE-

  • A story will be narrated. After the narration, a small beep will play.
  • In the window of 30 seconds, you are supposed to speak what you retain.
  • Once 30 seconds is completed, another beep will play and the next narration will start

Section 6- Open questions

Total Number of Questions- 2 Questions

It’s like a virtual HR round. Here, a HR question will be asked you and you have to speak the answer in a minute. Two questions will be there from this section.

NOTE-

  • Maintain patience as you will be provided sufficient amount of time to answer the question.
  • Must have to maintain your body language along with the communication skills.
 

Accenture Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria to attend the Accenture online test is as given below. The candidates should fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should have a full-time Bachelors or Masters Degree (B.E, B.Tech, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc., M.Tech, M.E, MBA, etc.) from a recognized university.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 60% throughout their academics (10th and 12th standard, under-graduation, and post-graduation).
